My week-long stay at Aparthotel Hummerau was an extraordinary experience that surpassed my high expectations as a seasoned wildlife conservationist accustomed to eco-conscious lodgings. The warm welcome from the friendly staff, particularly owner Marina, made me feel right at home, ensuring every need was meticulously catered to. The well-appointed rooms featured modern heating, perfect for the chilly evenings, alongside delightful tea and coffee facilities that allowed for relaxing mornings on the terrace, admiring the stunning surroundings. The hotel's close proximity to the ski lifts-just a two-minute walk-was incredibly convenient, making it easy to access the slopes without hassle. Although the restaurants and bars in Alpbach required a short car journey, having the option to easily call a taxi made this a minor inconvenience.
